He repeatedly uses the fibonacci sequence - a series of mathematical patterns found in nature (rams horns, sunflower seeds ext..) to symbolize his use of the natural world both compositionally and literally - in nature. To see how hard he actually works check out his main body of work and his ice projects. It's important to not overlook this. There is an interesting contrast between how much work he does and how ephemeral the pieces are. What's he trying to say?
